This patch adds a central FTP/SFTP management UI, with an associated
database object and class, plus the beginnings of an API. We can use
this code as a building block for adding FTP/SFTP connections to
other parts of the system, as well as to improve the usability of the
EDI transports. It is also now possible to test these connections
from within the Koha UI.
To test:-
You will need access to an FTP or SFTP server
Contact me if you need a disposable FTP/SFTP server
a) Go to Koha Administration
b) Notice no FTP/SFTP referenced on this page
c) APPLY PATCH, reset_all
d) Create new user, let's say sftpuser
e) Set permissions for new user to include:
1) catalogue
2) parameters -> manage_sftp_servers
f) Log in with this new user, go back to Koha Administration
1) Notice the FTP/SFTP servers option
g) Undo step e2) for the sftpuser via the koha admin user
1) Refresh the Koha Administration page as the sftpuser
2) Notice how FTP/SFTP servers has disappeared
h) Back to koha admin, go to Koha Administration -> FTP/SFTP Servers -> New
i) Complete form depending on the FTP or SFTP server you have access to, Submit
1) Notice you are prompted to confirm before saving
j) Select Edit, observe your details are the same, and Submit again
k) Repeat step J one additional time
l) Select Test, observe all tests passing
m) Select Delete, confirm deletion, and observe server disappear
n) Optionally, run prove on new tests

We currently have a sysprefs named "Elasticsearch*" and some name only "ES*". This patch unifies the names to always start with "Elasticsearch".
Test plan:
* Start koha-testing-docker, open the staff interface and go to Administration.
* Enter "Elasticsearch" into the System Preference search box and click "search"
* You will find a bunch of sysprefs
* Now search for "ESPreventAutoTruncate", which should find one match
* Apply the patch
* run (in ktd) the script `updatedatabase`
* You should see output like
DEV atomic update /kohadevbox/koha/installer/data/mysql/atomicupdate/bug_39526_unify_syspref_variable_names_for_elasticsearch.pl [09:35:03]: Bug 39526 - Unify system preference variable names for Elasticsearch
Renamed system preference 'ES..' to 'Elasticsearch..'
* Go again to to sysprefs and search again for "Elasticsearch"
* you should now find "ElasticsearchPreventAutoTruncate"
* Search for "ESPreventAutoTruncate", which should show "No system preferences matched your search for .." (and the list of ALL sysprefs)
Please note that the qa script explains about installer/data/mysql/mandatory/sysprefs.sql, but the last line is not touched by this patch, so not sure why this happens.

This change adds "Available", "Unavailable", and "Not for loan"
categories in the availability cell of the "cataloging search"
found at /cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/addbooks.pl
This change also adds missing location information for the
"Not for loan" items.
Test plan:
0. Apply the patch
1. Add available, checked out, and not for loan items for a test record
(like "Gairm" in koha-testing-docker)
2. Go to the cataloging search,
http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/addbooks.pl?q=test
3. Note that the items in the "Location" column now have labels
to differentiate which items are available, unavailable, and not for loan.
4. Note that the "Not for loan" data is similar to the "Available" data

For the maps, one of the key characteristics is the information about
the scale of the map (in MARC 21 - in the field 255:
https://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd255.html). Currently, we do not
display it neither in intranet view, nor in OPAC.
Test plan:
==========
1. Modify any bibliograhic record inserting a 255 field with example
content. (You may need to make the subfields visible in the editor by
modifying the MARC framework).
2. Verify in Normal view (intranet) and in OPAC that you are unable to
see the inserted data.
3. Apply the patch ; restart_all.
4. Verify in Normal view (intranet) and in OPAC that you are now able to
see the cartographical data from 255 field.

This patch adds comprehensive unit tests for the add_field function
to verify that all types of line endings (Unix \n, Windows \r\n,
Mac \r, and mixed) are properly normalized to spaces to prevent
SIP message corruption.
Tests cover:
- Unix line endings (\n)
- Windows line endings (\r\n)
- Mac line endings (\r)
- Mixed line ending combinations
- Normal text without line endings
- Empty values

Patron messages containing carriage returns, line feeds, or CRLF
combinations can break SIP protocol communication since CR is used
as the SIP message terminator. This causes message parsing failures
and protocol errors in self-check systems.
The previous regex only handled single carriage returns (\r),
missing Windows CRLF (\r\n) and Unix LF (\n) sequences.
This patch normalizes all line ending variations to spaces to
prevent SIP message corruption while preserving message content.
Test plan:
1. Go to a patron record and click "Add message"
2. Select "Add message for OPAC..." from dropdown
3. In a text editor (e.g., Word), create a message with line breaks:
"This is line one[Enter]This is line two[Enter]This is line three"
4. Copy and paste this multi-line text into the message box and save
5. Run the SIP emulator: misc/sip_cli_emulator.pl
6. Execute a patron information request for this patron
7. Before patch: Observe message breaks at line endings, corrupting
the SIP response
8. Apply patch and restart SIP server
9. Repeat steps 5-6
10. After patch: Verify the message appears as single line with
spaces replacing line breaks: "This is line one This is line two
This is line three"
11. Test with different line ending types (Windows, Mac, Unix) to
ensure all variations are handled correctly

Just jumping to the next biblionumber (and adding found biblio recs) is
more user friendly than crashing without any further clarification to
the user.
Note that this should be a rare exception when the URL is not manipulated
(someone deleting a biblio while another wants to add it to a list).
For another bug: The template is not designed to handle the situation that
no biblio is found at all.
Test plan:

This patch updates several templates to use internationalization
template functions to add context to the word "More." This gives
translators information about the context of the word.
To test, apply the patch and test that the correct strings are
translatable. In this example I'm testing fr-FR:
- Update a translation:
> gulp po:update
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for the strings which were
updated e.g. misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages.po
- Locate instances of the string 'msgid "More"', for example:
#: koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/admin/identity_providers.tt:308
msgctxt "Show more information"
msgid "More"
msgstr ""
- Edit each of the three instances of the "msgstr" string however you
want (it's just for testing)
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
- In the staff interface, switch to the updated translation and confirm
that your translations appear:
- In the header menu
- In the toolbar shown on a patron checkout or detail page
- In Acquisitions -> Invoices -> Invoice search results ->
- Click the invoice number
- Follow the "Go to receipt page" link
- If necessary, receive a pending order so that the "Already
received" table appears.
- Confirm that your translated string appears as a column header
- Go to Administration -> Identity providers
- Edit an identity provider
- Under "Advanced configuration" you should see your translated
string as a link to show more information about the fields.
- Click the "Manage domains" link for an identity provider.
- Edit a domain.
- You should see your translated string as a link to show more
information under the "Domain" field.

The username field would not appear in the quick add form despite being marked as required in BorrowerMandatoryField.
This was due the interaction between a change introduced by Bug 38459 and the dummy input for the username field.
This patch moves the dummy input so that the true input is the last child that the change in Bug 38459 targets.
This allows the username field to appear when added to BorrowerMandatoryField.
Test plan:
0. (Before applying the patch, follow the replication tests as in the comment above.)
1. Login to the Koha staff interface
2. Search system preferences for BorrowerMandatoryField
3. Toggle on Username (userid) so it is added to the list of fields and save your changes.
4. Navigate to /cgi-bin/koha/members/memberentry.pl?op=add_form&categorycode=PT, notice that username still shows and is marked as required
5. Navigate to /cgi-bin/koha/members/memberentry.pl?op=add_form&categorycode=PT&quickadd=true, notice that the username field does show.

We are now seeing a wider variety of issues possible from SQL errors, lock timeout or missings rows as examples
This patch adds an 'ErrorMessage' message to the return from AddReturn and displays it to the user.

2 - On the command line, lock the row:
sudo koha-mysql kohadev

SELECT * FROM issues WHERE itemnumber=975 FOR UPDATE;
leave mysql open at this point
3 - On the interface, check in the item, wait a bit

in order to remove the DataTables "Export" button because of the
possibility that its presence might be confusing.
To test apply the patch and go to Cataloging -> Label creator.
- Create more than one batch add multiple items to each.
- From the label batches page, test the process of exporting labels,
observing at each step the page title and breadcrumbs.
- Check a box next to a single batch and click the "Export selected"
button at the bottom.
- Check multiple boxes and click "Export selected."
- Click "Edit" on one of the batches
- In the list of items, check one or more checkboxes, and click
"Export select items."
- Click an individual "Export" button from the list of items.
- Click "Export full batch"
- In each case, you should be forwarded to a new page for choosing label
options.
- After submitting the form, you should be forwarded to another page
where you have options for downloading the batch as a PDF, CSV, or
XML.
- Test the new "Return to label batches" to confirm that it takes you to
the label batches page.

This patch updates the display of component parts on the bibliographic
detail pages in both the staff interface and OPAC. Table markup isn't
necessary to display simple rows of content.
To test, apply the patch and locate a record in the catalog with
component parts. (See Bug 11175 for sample record).
Look at the detail page for the record, under the components tab, in
both the OPAc and staff interface. In both cases the information should
be clearly displayed.
