Replaces all calls to GetNormalizedOCLCNumber() and
Koha::Util::MARC::oclc_number() with the extractor pattern.
OPAC scripts pass their already ViewPolicy-filtered $record directly
to the extractor. This preserves the existing filtering behavior
without introducing new abstraction layers:
Koha::Biblio::Metadata::Extractor->new( { metadata => $record } )->get_normalized_oclc
Intranet scripts and the Koha::Biblio convenience method use the
raw cached extractor (035 visibility is not affected by ViewPolicy
in practice, and intranet doesn't filter):
$biblio->normalized_oclc
Test plan:
1. Verify OCLC numbers display on OPAC detail, ISBD, MARC detail
2. Verify staff catalogue detail and search results
3. prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Biblio.t

This patch adds age restriction handling to the Koha namespace:
- Koha::Biblio->age_restriction: metadata extractor that parses the
agerestriction field using the AgeRestrictionMarker system preference.
Returns the numeric age or undef. Uses single return with last pattern.
- Koha::Policy::Biblio::AgeRestriction->check($biblio, $patron): policy
class that evaluates whether a patron meets the age restriction.
Returns a Koha::Result::Boolean (with payload on restriction).

Adds DBIC relationship aliases so that +count embeds advertised in
the API specs are backed by actual database relationships, making
them sortable via the SQL COUNT subquery infrastructure.
New aliases:
- Borrower: checkouts (issues)
- Aqbookseller: baskets (aqbaskets), invoices (aqinvoices)
- Ticket: updates (ticket_updates)
- ErmEholdingsPackage: resources (erm_eholdings_resources)
- Biblio: holds (reserves)
Koha methods are updated to use the new relationship names directly,
following the one-liner style: Koha::Foo->_new_from_dbic( scalar ... )
Note: checkouts on Borrower and subscriptions on Aqbookseller already
had matching DBIC relationships. comments on Illrequest, requests on
IllBatch, and items on Biblio also already existed.

When the OPACAuthorIdentifiersAndInformation system preference is
enabled, selected information about authors is displayed. However, if
the main author is a corporate body or a meeting/conference (MARC 21
fields 110/111), the information is not shown.
Test plan:
==========
1. Enable the display of identifiers in
OPACAuthorIdentifiersAndInformation.
2. Add a 024 field with a VIAF ID to any corporate authority record,
e.g.:
024 7# $a 1234 $2 viaf
3. Use this authority heading as the main entry (110 or 111) in any
bibliographic record.
4. In the OPAC view of that bibliographic record, verify that the Author
information tab does not display information from the main entry.
5. Use the same heading as an added entry (710 or 711). In the OPAC
view, verify that the Author information tab now displays information
from the added entry, but still not from the main entry.
6. Apply the patch ; restart_all.
7. Verify that OPAC now displays information from the 110/111
heading fields in the bibliographic record.

This set of patches adds a new is_fast_add column to biblio_framework.
The Biblio.pm subroutine can_be_edited now checks if the framework is_fast_add.
In Admin > MARC bibliographic frameworks admin users can add or edit
frameworks to be used as Fast add frameworks.
Users with only fast_cataloging permission will be able to add records
using those frameworks in the Fast Cataloging module.
Test plan:

Update the existing _unblessed_for_log() subtest to reflect the new
behaviour: MARC-derived columns (title, author, copyrightdate, etc.)
are now excluded, while frameworkcode is always included even when it
is an empty string (the Default framework).
Add a new subtest 'CataloguingLog MARC-in-JSON diff tests' covering:
- ADD: diff _marc key is MARC-in-JSON (has leader + fields array),
indicators and subfield values are correct, and MARC-derived
biblio columns are absent from the diff.
- MODIFY: diff _marc key present, MARC-derived columns absent.
- DELETE: diff _marc key present with correct MARC-in-JSON structure.
Use from_json() instead of decode_json() when reading diffs back from
the database, as the DBD layer returns decoded Perl Unicode strings
which decode_json (which expects UTF-8 bytes) would reject for any
non-ASCII content.

Replace the custom _marc_record_to_diffable helper with MARC::Record::MiJ's
to_mij_structure method, which produces standard MARC-in-JSON. This fixes
three problems with the old approach:
- Dollar signs used as subfield delimiters in the formatted string were
ambiguous when subfield content itself contained " $x " sequences.
- Grouping fields by tag into a hash lost inter-field ordering, making
lossless reconstruction of the MARC record impossible.
- Non-ASCII characters were subject to Perl string context encoding
issues; JSON serialisation of the MiJ structure handles UTF-8 cleanly.
_unblessed_for_log in Koha::Biblio is updated to return only the three
biblio columns that are genuinely independent of the MARC record
(frameworkcode, opac_suppressed, serial). The remaining columns
(author, title, subtitle, notes, etc.) are denormalised copies of MARC
data already captured in the _marc key, so including them produced
redundant and noisy diffs.
The fmt() helper in viewlog.js is updated to render JavaScript arrays
as ordered lists rather than objects with numeric keys, improving the
display of MARC subfield arrays in the diff table.

Add _unblessed_for_log to Koha::Biblio, mirroring the same method in
Koha::Patron (bug 40136). It excludes undef/empty-string columns and the
auto-updated timestamp field so that biblio diffs only contain meaningful
values.
Update AddBiblio, ModBiblio and DelBiblio in C4/Biblio.pm to use
_unblessed_for_log instead of raw unblessed when building the hashrefs
passed to logaction, eliminating noise from null columns in ADD/MODIFY/DELETE
diffs.

- Biblio::check_booking counts current checkouts toward the
unavailable pool to detect booking clashes
- It counts checkouts on ALL items for the biblio, including
non-bookable ones (e.g. items with an excluded item type)
- When only a subset of items are bookable, checkouts on
non-bookable siblings incorrectly reduce the available pool,
producing false clashes
- Restrict the checkout query to only count items whose
itemnumber is in the bookable items set
To test:
1. Have a biblio with at least two items, where one item is
bookable and the other is not (bookable = 0).
2. Check out the non-bookable item to a patron.
3. Attempt to create a booking for the bookable item.

bookable item is available.
5. Apply the patch.
6. Repeat steps 2-3.
7. Verify the booking succeeds without a false clash.
8. Run: prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Biblio.t

"checkouts on non-bookable items do not cause false clashes"
passes.

This patch restores the generation of subfield s from field 240 (Uniform Title)
in the MARC21 773 field generation, addressing cataloger feedback about the
critical importance of this field for:
- Bibles and books of the Bible
- Laws and statutes
- Translations
- Academic and specialized library materials
- Legal materials and treaties
The MARC21 standard defines subfield s as "Uniform title (NR)" and this data
is essential for proper bibliographic relationships.
This patch also fixes a warning when 245 indicator 2 contains non-numeric
values by adding proper validation.
Test plan:
1. Create a record with a 240 field containing uniform title data
2. Generate a child record from it
3. Verify the 773 field now contains subfield s with the uniform title

This patch updates the Koha::Biblio->generate_marc_host_field method to
more closely match the updated logic in C4::Biblio::prep_marc_host.
We change a number of things including:
1) Constructinging the 773 subfield generation from a hash to an array
to preserve field order.
2) Updating main entry handling for 100/110/111 fields to clone the
field and then remove relevant subfields as apposed to fetching only
a limited set of subfields.
3) Add handling to generate subfield 7 content depending on LDR and
Main Entry information
4) Improve handling for title subfield construction from 245 to respect
non-filing characters and remove trailing punctuation
5) Remove trailing punctuation from subfield b when generated from 250
6) Remove generation of subfield s from the 240 field entirely
7) Remove trailing punctuation from subfield d when generated from 260
8) Add generation of subfield k from 800-830 fields

This patch makes the `to_api()` method return an proper exception when
the `$self->biblioitem` accessor returns `undef`. This is a bad data
scenario and we could do better in terms of logging the situation.
The new exception will be correctly rendered in the logs by the
`unhandled_exception` Mojolicious helper and no behavior change on the
API.
I wasn't sure to keep the api tests I wrote. I originally added handling
for the specific exception in the controller, but it become obvious it
was not worth: too much code, the `GET /biblios` endpoint would need the
same treatment, etc. And the current `500 Internal server error` is good
enough as a response, and the logs explain the situation correctly.
To test:
1. On a fresh `KTD` pick a biblio (say biblionumber=1)
2. Use your favourite REST tool (Postman?) to access the record with
`Accept: application/json`. i.e.
```
GET kohadev.localhost/api/v1/biblios/1
Accept: application/json
```
=> SUCCESS: All good
3. Delete the related `biblioitems` row:
$ ktd --shell
k$ koha-mysql kohadev
> DELETE FROM biblioitems WHERE biblionumber=1; \q
4. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: You get a 500 error
5. Check the logs
=> FAIL: You get a cryptic message about accessing a method on an
undefined object:
```
This patch introduces a higher-level method for retrieving a 'prepared'
record for using in specific contexts. In particular, I only focused on
embedding item information and OPAC view filtering. But we could add a
way to get the record through the ViewPolicy also for staff.
The virtue of this patch is that it explains better than my words why I
think having the *embed_items* and *opac* parameters in
Koha::Biblio::Metadata->record is not ideal. And makes the other
implementation feel like is done at the wrong level.
I know it's been done like that to act as a drop-in replacement fro GetMarcBiblio,
which was a good first step. But we need to revisit how it is used, in general, to come
up with a more refined and useful design. So we do not port the same
design problems from C4::* into Koha::*.
Try to think how it would be used in contexts like opac-MARCdetail.pl or
any other OPAC controller script.
After Bug 33496, host items are displayed even when system preference EasyAnalyticalRecords is disabled.
Test plan :
1) Build an analytical record with 773$0 and $9
2) Enable 'EasyAnalyticalRecords'
3) Go to catalogue details page
=> You see the linked item
4) Disable EasyAnalyticalRecords
5) Go to catalogue details page
This allows for future removal of C4::Biblio::prepare_marc_host by
splitting the logic for generating the host field and storing the link
in the child record.
This allows you to see quickly if a biblio has linked orders or not.
And if they are all cancelled, or some still in processing, or some
are complete (and the rest cancelled).
Active orders are more than just not cancelled. See filter_by_active
in Koha::Acquisition::Orders. They are still in the acq process; we
still need to receive items on those orders.
When we cancel and want to delete a biblio, we should check for not
cancelled orders (broader than active orders as in Orders.pm).
Test plan:
Git grep active_orders.
Run t/db_dependent/Koha/Biblio.t
Run t/db_dependent/Koha/Acquisition/Order.t
Add two order lines in a basket referring to same biblio. Try to
cancel with delete biblio. Should not be possible.
This patch adds pickup_items as a list of itemnumbers that can be picked
from the library should it be selected as a pickup location.
Koha/Illrequests.pm -> Koha/ILL/Requests.pm
Merged:
t/db_dependent/Koha/Illrequests.t
t/db_dependent/Illrequests.t
Into:
t/db_dependent/Koha/ILL/Requests.t
ILL classes file structure is, for the most part, around 7 years old and doesn't follow a strict logic. It's so confusing that some test files exist redundantly.
This housekeeping should help future work in regards to ISO18626 to add Koha as a supplying agency instead of just requesting agency, as is now.
It should also help future housekeeping of moving backend related logic out of the Illrequest.pm into Illbackend.pm (now ILL/Request.pm and ILL/Backend.pm as of this patchset).
It should also help in structuring the addition of a master generic form (see bug 35570)
This patchset will require existing backends to be updated to match the new class names and structure, if they invoke them.
Test plan, k-t-d, run tests:
prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/ill_*
prove t/db_dependent/Koha/ILL/*
Test plan, k-t-d, manual:
1) Install FreeForm, enable ILL module, run:
bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ammopt/koha-ill-dev/master/start-ill-dev.sh)
2) You'll have to switch the FreeForm repo to the one compatible with this work, like:
cd /kohadevbox/koha/Koha/Illbackends/FreeForm
git checkout reorganize_ILL
3) Do some generic ILL testing:
3.1) Create a request
3.2) Add a comment to a request
3.3) Edit a request
3.4) Edit a request's item metadata
3.5) Confirm a request
3.6) List requests
3.7) Filter requests list using left side filters
4) Install a metadata enrichment plugin:
https://github.com/PTFS-Europe/koha-plugin-api-pubmed
4.1) Create an ILL batch and insert a pubmedid like 123
4.2) Add the request and finish batch
5) Verify all of the above works as expected
+ attached items, subscriptions etc via the API as an alternative to the web interface: cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/merge.pl
This is a slightly improved version of Zenos patch: I (domm) have converted the code in Koha::Biblio to a more DBICy style and packed it into a transaction (as requested in Comment 23)
Even the QA script is happy now!
To test:
1) you need an API user with the permissions "editcatalogue"
2) two records: one to be merged into (with biblio_id, eg 262) and another one from
which to merge (with biblio_id_to_merge, eg 9) which will be deleted!
both records may/should have items, subscription, subscriptionhistory, serial, suggestions
orders and holds
3) check both records via the web
4) Apply patch
5) Write a JSON file with inside the field 'biblio_id_to_merge' and the biblionumber from wihich to merge.
As example:
{
"biblio_id_to_merge" : 9
}
6) Execute an API call with correct headers and location. For example:
curl -s -u koha:koha --header "Content-Type: application/json" --header "Accept: application/marc-in-json"
--request POST "http://127.0.0.1:8080/api/v1/biblios/262/merge" -d @file.json
You must to setup the headers and to use a json file with parameters
7) The record with the id 9 is deleted now, the record with 262 has all items, etc attached,
the return is: return code 200 and the changed record 262 in marc-in-json format
8) It is possible to override biblio data with an external bib record. You need to put external bib record
into the json file in marc-in-json format. To write use the json file uploaded as example
You need to fill the fields 'rules' and 'datarecord'. The field 'rules' must contains 'override_ext'
To do the call:
curl -s -u koha:koha --header "Content-Type: application/json" --header "Accept: application/marc-in-json"
--request POST "http://127.0.0.1:8080/api/v1/biblios/XXX/merge" -d @file_with_recod.json
9) The record in 'biblio_id_to_merge' is deleted now, in biblio XXX now there are the bibliographic data
of field 'datarecord' of json file, the return is: return code 200 and the changed record XXX in marc-in-json format
10) Go into intranet and do a search. Select two or (better) more record.
11) Merge them; merge must be a success.
12) Test with prove -v t/db_dependent/Koha/Biblio.t
13) Test with prove -v t/db_dependent/api/v1/biblios.t
To test with curl the step 8 you can customize the json file attached in bugzilla.
The marc-in-json record inside follows the MAR21 standard
This routine really belongs inside Koha::Booking rather than
Koha::Biblio. This patch moves it there, renames with _ to highlight
it's private nature.
Test plan
the 'store' test.
