Bug 38664: Tidy the whole codebase
This commit is generated using:
  % perl misc/devel/tidy.pl
*within* ktd, to get the same version of perltidy than what will be used
by our CI (currently v20230309).

Bug 35044: Update: Serial subscriptions batch edit
Test plan, k-t-d:

Preparation: Create additional fields for table 'subscription', visit:
/cgi-bin/koha/admin/additional-fields.pl?tablename=subscription

2 text fields, one repeatable, one not-repeatable
2 AV fields, one repeatable, one not-repeatable
2 MARC fields, one 'get' and one 'set', both non-repeatable, MARC field
942$c
Attempt to create a repeatable MARC field (get or set). Notice you're
unable to.

1) Add a new serial subscription, visit:
/cgi-bin/koha/serials/subscription-add.pl
2) Set the mandatory "Record" input (e.g. '112'). Click the 'Next' and
press 'Ok' on the alert box.
3) Fill in all required fields and press "Test prediction pattern"
4) At the bottom, fill in all additional fields, click the '+New' and
   'Clear' links, hit 'Save'
5) Notice the fields are shown, repeated fields are comma separated
6) Repeat steps 1-4 to create a second subscription
7) Visit serials home and hit "Search":
/cgi-bin/koha/serials/serials-home.pl
8) Check the checkboxes next to the 2 subscriptions and click "Edit
   selected serials"
9) Input some values in the additional fields section, click the '+New'
   and 'Clear' links, hit 'Save'
10) Verify that both subscriptions now have the new values form the
    batch edit.

Bug 37183: Batch edit serial subscriptions sets expiration date to today
Test plan:

Add some serials:
1) Add a new serial, visit:
   /cgi-bin/koha/serials/subscription-add.pl
2) Put a biblionumber in the 'record' field, e.g. '112'.
Press 'next' and click 'ok' on the alert box.
3) Fill all the required fields and click 'test prediction'.
4) Fill the Subscription end date (= Expiration Date).
5) Click 'save subscription'.
6) Repeat steps 1-5 to create a second serial.

Batch edit serials:
1) Visit serials and hit the 'Search' button:
   /cgi-bin/koha/serials/serials-home.pl
2) Click the 2 checkboxes for the 2 serials we created
previously and click the new link that pops up
   'Edit selected serials'.
3) Click 'Save' without changing anything.
4) Go back to either of the serials, notice the value
for Expiration date is changed to TODAY
(the date of the batch edit).

Apply the patch and retest the batch editing (before
retesting, change the expiration dates of the two
serials back to the original expiration date).

Note that the expiration date now only changes if you
enter a date in the 'Expiration date' field.

Bug 35073: Default to existing value if there is one
For values that dont exist in the batch edit submission, i.e. UI says 'No change', we default to existing value if there is one.

Test plan:
Preparation - Additional fields:
1) Add a new 'additional field', visit:
/cgi-bin/koha/admin/additional-fields.pl
2) Click 'subscription' and '+ New field'. Enter a 'name' and hit 'save'.

Serials:
1) Add a new serial, visit:
/cgi-bin/koha/serials/subscription-add.pl
2) Put a biblionumber in the 'record' field, i.e. '112'. Press 'next' and click 'ok' on the alert box
3) Fill all the required fields and click 'test prediction'
4) Input something in the additional field created previously.
5) Click 'save subscription'. Notice the additional field is as expected.
6) Repeat steps 1-5 to create a second serial.

Batch edit:
1) Visit serials and hit the 'Search' button:
/cgi-bin/koha/serials/serials-home.pl
2) Click the 2 checkboxes for the 2 serials we created previously and click the new link that pops up 'edit selected serials'.
3) Click 'Save' without changing anything.
4) Go back to either of the serials, notice the value for the additional field is unchanged. Visit:
/cgi-bin/koha/serials/subscription-detail.pl?subscriptionid=1

Jonathan Druart e53667105d Bug 29844: Fix ->search occurrences
and some more...

There are lot of inconsistencies in our ->search calls. We could
simplify some of them, but not in this patch. Here we want to prevent
regressions as much as possible and so don't add unecessary changes.

Jonathan Druart 9d6d641d1f Bug 17600: Standardize our EXPORT_OK
On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.

That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.

This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests

And a lot of other manual changes.

export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.

"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;

The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules

Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).

EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.

@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.

@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.

@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""

If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
  - use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

Julian Maurice 4e698f7b47 Bug 18426: Allow to edit subscriptions in batch
This adds a checkbox column in serials-search.pl tables that allow to edit
selected subscriptions.
The following fields can be modified:
 - Bookseller
 - Location
 - Library
 - Item type
 - Public note
 - Nonpublic note
 - "Create item when receiving" flag
 - Expiration date
+ the additional fields defined in serials/add_fields.pl

Test plan:

1. Go to Serials module
2. If there is no additional fields defined, define some (at least one with an
   authorized value and one without)
3. Start a subscription search
4. Select some results using the checkboxes and click the "Edit" button above
   the table
5. Select values for some fields (not all) and click "Start batch edit"
6. Verify you are being redirected to the previous search results
7. Verify that the fields for which you selected a value were modified and that
   the others fields weren't
8. Repeat steps 4 to 7 but this time, modify the other fields.
