<h1 id="releasenotesforkoha20.11.08">RELEASE NOTES FOR KOHA 20.11.08</h1>
<p>23 Jul 2021</p>
<p>Koha is the first free and open source software library automation
package (ILS). Development is sponsored by libraries of varying types
and sizes, volunteers, and support companies from around the world. The
website for the Koha project is:</p>

<p>Koha 20.11.08 is a bugfix/maintenance release.</p>
<p>It includes 19 bugfixes.</p>

<blockquote>
<p>This fixes an issue with the 'Returned claims' feature (enabled by setting a value for ClaimReturnedLostValue)- resolving returned claims now works as expected.</p>
<p>Before this fix, an attempt to resolve a claim resulted in the page hanging and the claim not being able to be resolved.</p>

This change fixes the MARC detail view so that it is consistent with the normal and ISBD detail views. (Before this, a 'Place hold' link would appear for the MARC detail, even if a hold couldn't be placed, for example if an item was recorded as not for loan.)</p>

<p>This fixes the advanced search in the staff interface so that searching using the 'Corporate name' index now works correctly when the QueryAutoTruncate system preference is not enabled. Before this a search (using Zebra) for a name such as 'House plants' would not return any results and generate error messages in the log files.</p>
