This change impacts the display of patron fields listed in system preferences:
BorrowerMandatoryField
BorrowerUnwantedField
PatronSelfModificationBorrowerUnwantedField
PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField
PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField
To test:
1 - confirm that the sysprefs listed above include "Alternate contact: First name (contactfirstname)" and "Alternate contact: Surname (contactname)"
2 - confirm that toggling the display of these fields hides/shows the Guarantor first name and Guarantor surname fields in a patron record
3 - apply patch, restart_all
4 - confirm that sysprefs now show "Guarantor first name (contactfirstname)" and "Guarnator surname (contactname)"
5 - confirm toggling the display of these fields still hides/shows the correct fields in a patron record in the staff client, in self-ref, and in OPAC self-modification

test plan:
1. Export a record with an item from the staff interface as MARCXML (Save > MARCXML).
2. Edit the file and remove the 952$a (home library) and 952$b (current library).
3. Delete the item and record in the staff interface.
4. Import the exported record and item from the MARCXML file:
- Cataloging > Import > Stage for import
. Settings > Format: MARCXML
- Stage for import
- View batch link on the job details page (assuming successfully staged)
. New record framework: change to Books, Booklets, Workbooks
5. Turn on the browser developer tools and view the console.
6. Access the details page for the new record.
7. Note that you get:
- A "Processing" dialog box on screen
- A browser pop-up window/dialog box with:
Something went wrong when loading the table.
500: Internal server error
- Click OK
- The console shows:
. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
. Got 500 (Internal Server Error)
. DataTables warning: table id=holdings_table - Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see https://datatables.net/tn/7
8. Run misc/maintenance/search_for_data_inconsistencies.pl, you get these result (the itemnumber may be different):
== Not defined items.homebranch and/or items.holdingbranch ==
* Item with itemnumber=973 does not have home and holding library defined
=> Edit these items and set valid homebranch and/or holdingbranch
(↑↑ don't do it, it's part of the message content)
9. Apply the patch.
10. Restart everything.
11. Refresh the details screen for the imported record.
12. You now get the same as step 7, but with added "Have a look at the "Audit" button in the toolbar" text in the browser pop-up dialog box:
- A "Processing" dialog box on screen
- A browser pop-up window/dialog box with:
Something went wrong when loading the table.
500: Internal server error
Have a look at the "Audit" button in the toolbar
- Click OK
- The console shows:
. GET http[URL for the record....] 500 (Internal Server Error)
. Got 500 (Internal Server Error)
. DataTables warning: table id=holdings_table - Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see https://datatables.net/tn/7
13. Click on the Audit button.
14. You get a yellow box at the top of the record with:
Errors found
Item with itemnumber=973 does not have home and holding library defined
(Note that there is still the "Processing" dialog box, you can edit the item by select the "Items" option in the sidebar menu and then edit the item details - the home and current library files will be auto-populated with the current library, Centerville with KTD)
15. Repeat step 8, you get the same results.
16. The tests pass: prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Database/DataInconsistency.t
17. Check the details page for another record that doesn't have any data issues - note the 'Audit' toolbar item, and if clicked should show a blue box at the top of the record with "No data inconsistency found."

Test plan #1 ensure same script functionality (same as bug 34064):
0. Apply patch
1. vi ./installer/data/mysql/kohastructure.sql
2. Comment out some columns, change NULL status, or whatever you like
3. perl misc/maintenance/audit_database.pl \
--filename /kohadevbox/koha/installer/data/mysql/kohastructure.sql
4. Note that the output includes SQL commands to change the database
to match the new kohastructure.sql
5a. Try using koha-foreach and note that the database name appears above
the database comparison
5b. koha-foreach "perl misc/maintenance/audit_database.pl \

This patch adds a new field 'preferred_name' to the patron record.
On storage (creation or update) the preferred_name is set to the firstname if no
value is passed. Patron modifications will set the preferred name to the firstname if
the preferred_name field is hidden
With this patchset preferred_name will always be set - either to the firstname, or a specified value.
PatronAutoComplete/ysearch is updated to use 'preferred_name'
To test:
1 - Apply patches
2 - Update database and restart all, clear browser cache
3 - Load a patron in staff module
4 - Confirm you see and can add a preferred name
5 - Confirm the preferred name and first name now displays on patron details
6 - Remove first name from patron record and confirm it no longer shows
7 - Edit sysprefs BorrowerMandatoryFields and BorrowerUnwantedFields to confirm you can make
new field required or hidden
8 - Sign in as patron to opac
9 - Confirm preferred name shows
10 - Edit account on opac and confirm field is present
11 - Verify DefaultPatronSearchFields contains 'preferredname' if your pref had firstname
12 - Perform checkout and patron search using preferred_name, confirm patron is found
13 - Enable PatronAutoComplete system preference
14 - Type patron's surname into Checkout or patron search but don't hit enter
15 - Confirm patron is displayed with 'preferred_name' in the preview
16 - Set 'preferred_name' in all 'Unwanted' preferences
17 - Confirm editing a patron in staff interface sets both fields when firstname updated
18 - Confirm a patron modification sets both fields when firstname updated
19 - Create a patron / perform self registration and confirm both fields set when preferred_name is hidden
20 - Remove preferred_name from Unwanted prefs and confirm preferred_name is set to firstname if nothing passed

This adds missing column descriptions to the items and biblioitems
tables (used in guided reports for the Circulation, Catalog,
Acquisitions, and Serials modules).
It also updates some existing descriptions for consistency, removes
biblioitems columns that no longer exist, and sorts items and statistics
descriptions in the source file in alphabetical order.
Test plan:
1. Go to Reports > Guided reports > Create guided report.
2. Choose 'Catalog' for the module to report on, and then select
'Next'.
3. Choose 'Tabular' for the type of report and select 'Next'.
4. Note that there are no descriptions for these column names
(proposed column names shown in brackets):
- items.itemnumber (Koha item number (autogenerated))
- items.biblionumber (Biblio number (internal))
- items.bookable (Bookable)
- items.localuse (Total local uses)
- biblioitems.ean (EAN)
- biblioitems.collectiontitle (Series statement)
- biblioitems.collectionissn (Series ISSN)
- biblioitems.collectionvolume (Series volume)
- biblioitems.editionstatement (Edition statement)
- biblioitems.editionresponsibility (Edition responsibility)
- biblioitems.cn_source (Source of classification or shelving scheme)
- biblioitems.cn_class (Classification part)
- biblioitems.cn_item (Item part)
- biblioitems.cn_suffix (Call number suffix)
- biblioitems.cn_sort (Koha normalized classification for sorting)
- biblioitems.totalissues (Koha issues (borrowed), all copies)
5. Apply the patch.
6. Restart all the things (restart_all).
7. Reload the page.
8. Note that there are now descriptions for the columns in step 4.
9. Note that the descriptions for these columns are changed (for
consistency with other tables, or clarification):
- items.itype => Koha item type (previously Koha itemtype)
- items.timestamp => Modification date (previously Timestamp)
- biblioitems.timestamp => Modification date (previously Timestamp)
- biblioitems.illus => Other physical details (previously
Illustrations)
- biblioitems.biblioitemnumber => Biblio item number (internal)
(previously Biblioitem number)
- biblioitems.biblionumber (and also acqorders.biblionumber and

This follow-up to bug 32312 fixes the descriptions for the statistics
database columns, used in guided reports.
It removes the duplicate statistics section in Koha/Database/Columns.pm
so that descriptions are displayed for all columns, as originally
intended.
It also adds a description for the interface column (a new column added
after the original patch was pushed).
Test plan:
1. Go to Reports > Guided reports > Create guided report.
2. Choose 'Circulation' for the module to report on and select
'Next'.
3. Choose 'Tabular' for the type of report and select 'Next'.
4. Scroll down to the statistics table section and note that some
columns have descriptions and some don't:
Statistics date and time / statistics.datetime
Library / statistics.branch
Value / statistics.value
Type / statistics.type
Item number / statistics.itemnumber
Item type / statistics.itemtype
statistics.other
statistics.location
Borrower number / statistics.borrowernumber
statistics.ccode
statistics.categorycode
statistics.interface
5. Apply the patch.
6. Restart all the things (restart_all).
7. Repeat steps 1 to 4.
8. Scroll down to the statistics table section again and note that all
columns now have descriptions:
Statistics date and time / statistics.datetime
Library / statistics.branch
Value / statistics.value
Transaction type / statistics.type
SIP mode / statistics.other
Item number / statistics.itemnumber
Koha item type / statistics.itemtype
Shelving location / statistics.location

MySQL 8 returns this additional information for a timestamp such
as the timestamp2 in the Commenter test.
Which results in the following alter:
ALTER TABLE koha_myclone.database_commenter_1 MODIFY COLUMN `timestamp2` timestamp NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP DEFAULT_GENERATED COMMENT 'Column_5'
And that statement fails again on that keyword.
For now, it seems sufficient to ignore this keyword when building the alter statement.
