If weekly repeatable holidays are set, Koha ignores these days when other holidays are set using the Holidays repeated yearly on a range option.
To test:
1) Navigate to Tools > Calendar
2) Click on a weekend date on the calendar to open the Add New Holiday option
3) Give your holiday a title and select Holiday repeated every same day of the week
4) Click on the calendar again and set a holiday from 20 December 2021 to 06 January 2022
5) Give your holiday a title
6) Select Holidays repeated yearly on a range and click save
7) Using the calendar, navigate forwards to December 2024 and note that there are days that should be highlighted in the holdiay period that are not highlighted
8) Apply Patch
9) Run the reset_all command
10) Repeat the steps above
11) Notice that now when you click forwards through the calendar, all of the dates for your holidays repeated yearly on a range are still selected

We should make the inventory 'problem' column translatable.
Test plan (assuming KTD):
1- Update po
misc/translator/translate update LANG
(for example LANG="fr-FR")
2- translate the new strings
vim misc/translator/po/LANG-messages-js.po
edit for example "wrong place" or "missing"
3- install the language
koha-translate --install LANG --dev kohadev
4- use it for the UI and confirm that the CSV generated has 'problem' column translated
a- Using the test language (activate it with sysprefStaffInterfaceLanguages)
b- Go to Cataloging > Inventory
c- Fill some barcode and some filter (for example a filter on callnumber)
d- Select "Export to CSV file"
e- Submit
f- Open the CSV file generated, check that the colomn problem is now translated according to what you have filled in step 2

An alternative approach to the original submission for bug 9762. Instead
of recording a distinct action log line for a set of override messages
in addition to the standard issue record, this patch updates the
existing issue log to include any confirmation or impossible responses
from the preceeding CanBookBeIssued call.
We continue to record these as a JSON structure as the prior patch did,
but instead of human messages we use the predefined codes as returned
from the existing CanBookBeIssued response.
To test:
After each step, a single action log message should be displayed under
`Tools > Log viewer`. The message itself will now consist of a JSON
string with an array of 'confirmations' and 'forced' strings
representing the overriden feedback from CanBookBeIssued.

Most of the places where a "script_name" variable used it is not
strictly necessary. Because it is also used inconsistently, I think it's
better to simply remove the use of the variable where it isn't strictly
necessary.
This patch removes creation of the template variable from several
scripts and updates the corresponding template with the URL itself.

The system is vulnerable to Formula Injection attacks as the data
stored within the database and exported as CSV/Excel is not being
sanitized or validated against implanted formula payloads
This patch modifies all uses of Text::CSV and derived classes to pass
the "formula" parameter with value of "empty" which replaces formulas
by empty string.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) For guided_reports.pl, attempt to export CSV where you've set a column to a formula somehow
( such as "=1+3" )
3) Export that CSV file

where users can define the outputted data

After you upload a file or textarea of barcodes to inventory, the next step is
a list of the things that were missing, with checkboxes to check when you find
them, and buttons to Mark seen, which send a POST to
/cgi-bin/koha/tools/ajax-inventory.pl without an op param (since it doesn't
have an $op) and without a csrf_token, so the POST fails with a 403.
Test plan:
1. Without the patch, Cataloging - Inventory - in Item location filters
set Library to Centerville, Shelving location to Audio visual, Collection
code to Reference, and in Optional filters for inventory list or comparing
barcodes set Last inventory date to today.
2. Click Submit, and you'll have a table of 23 items. Check the checkbox for
the first item, click Mark seen and continue
3. What was supposed to happen was that you would be taken to the next
page, but instead you are still in the same page, and if you had the
browser console open, you would have seen that you sent a POST to
ajax-inventory.pl, and got a 403 error in response
4. Apply patch, restart_all
5. Repeat step 1 and 2, this time getting to the second page. Check the
checkboxes for the last two items, and click Mark seen and quit
6. Repeat step 1 and click Submit. You should now have only 20 items, since
the three you checked now have a Last inventory date of today.
Yeah, when you did Mark seen and continue they ought to have been removed from
the list, I agree. I had to go back to 23.11.x and make sure that was really
how it was supposed to function, but that is the existing behavior. Even
though they get marked as seen, nothing changes about your list until you quit
and go back to it. Maybe because then something that wasn't on the current
page would have moved there. Another bug.

This patch switch the check in the script to 'cud-list' - we use the same form
submission if listing for preview or directly updating dates, so this may or may
not be a cud- action - assuming it is restores script functionality.
See bug 37941 for updating forms to not share actions
To test:
1 - Checkout some items to patrons of at least two libraries
2 - Tools -> Batch extend due dates
3 - Select nothing except 'preview' and submit
4 - Blank screen
5 - Apply patch, repeat
6 - It works!
7 - Filter by library and confirm it still works
8 - Sign off!

When a booking is cancelled, patron received an email based on specific
letter.
Test plan:
1) Create a letter with code "BOOKING_CANCELLATION" on "Notices and
slips" tool.
2) Add booking or go on item already booked in advance.
3) Cancel it
4) Verify in message_queue table directly or go on patron page and click
on "Notices" tab section.

Just like with batch item modification, batch patron modification can accept
either a POST of a lot of data, which might be more than Apache's default
URL length limit, or a GET of a little data. Or at least it could, if both
the op 'cud-show' and the op 'show' were accepted. Show isn't doing any
creation or updating or deleting, it just has to be cud-show because it needs
to be able to accept large POSTs. So when it is only getting a little data, it
should be willing to take a GET with op=show just like batch item
modification does.
Test plan:
1. Without the patch, Tools - Patron lists - New patron list - give it a
name and Save
2. Type enough characters in the Patron search input to find a patron (I
like ace for poor often-used Henry Acevedo) and click on a patron in
the list of results
3. Click Add patrons
4. Click Patron lists, and in the Actions menu for your list, choose
Batch edit patrons. Note that the page that loads doesn't show any patrons
or UI to edit them, only a message about "No patron card numbers or
borrowernumbers given."
5. Apply patch, restart_all
6. Repeat step 4, but this time get a page with your patron listed, and a
form to change things about the patron record.

Since bug 37197 switched reports back to using a POST to send cardnumbers to
batch modification, we should also be using a single textarea rather than
multiple inputs.
Test plan:
1. Reports - Create from SQL - give it a name, and the SQL
select cardnumber from borrowers limit 3
2. Save report - Run report
3. Batch operations with 3 visible records - Batch patron modification
4. Verify that you have the same three cardnumbers in Batch patron modification
as were in the report.

This change validates the paths in datalink.txt/idlink.txt,
so that only images in the unpacked archive directory are allowed
Test plan:
0. Apply the patch
1. koha-plack --reload kohadev
2. Create a datalink.txt file with the following:
42,selfie.jpg
3. Create a jpeg at selfie.jpg
4. ZIP the datalink.txt and selfie.jpg files
5. Upload to the "Upload patron images" tool
(after enabling the "patronimages" system preference)
6. Note that the image uploads correctly

To Test
1. Create a file name for example: test.zip`curl xxxxtesting.informaticsglobal.com`.zip
where the domain is one you can watch the logs from.
2. Go to Tools and click on Upload patron images choose option zip file and upload the file.
3. Check /var/log/apache2/access.log and see the curl with the IP
"xx.xxx.xx.xxx - - [11/Jul/2024:23:10:33 +0530] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 267 "-" "curl/7.68.0"
4. Apply the patch
5. Repeat 2 and 3 step and check no error is coming for the Remote execution error.
6. Test uploading actual zip file and images still works.

If a notice doesn't already have any data in it we weren't able to use
the object to lookup the sample.. with this patch we now always load the
samples if they exist for each installed and enabled language,
regardless of whether there's already a notice stored in that language.
Test plan
1. Install Spanish by running koha-translate --install es-ES from inside
the kohashell
2. restart all
3. Set TranslateNotices to Allow
4. Verify that the Spanish-language sample_notices.yml exists
5. Open a notice that has at least one Spanish default notice defined
6. Confirm you see the 'View default' button for the spanish notice and
that the displayed notice is indeed the spanish translation

This patch adds a modal to preview the sample notices in the UI and
allow replacing the template content with that content of that modal.
Test plan
1) Apply patches and restart plack (Or just use a sandbox)
2) Login to the staff client and navigate to 'Tools > Notices and Slips'
3) 'Edit' a notice.
4) Note the new 'View default' button on some notices where we ship a
default in the 'sample_notices' file.
5) Click the button to view the sample notice
6) Confirm 'Close' just closes the modal
7) Confirm 'Copy' copies the sample notice into the editor field
