Test plan, clean k-t-d:
1) Add a reserve to koha/koha user, mysql run:
insert into reserves(borrowernumber, reservedate, branchcode, cancellationdate, timestamp, biblionumber)
VALUES (51, '2022-09-23', 'CPL', '2022-09-23', '2022-09-23 15:46:21', 76);
2) Add an old_reserve to koha/koha user, mysql run:
insert into old_reserves(borrowernumber, reservedate, branchcode, cancellationdate, timestamp, reserve_id)
VALUES (51, '2022-09-23', 'CPL', '2022-09-23', '2022-09-23 15:46:21', 1);
3) Visit holdshistory on either OPAC (requires OPACHoldsHistory sys pref) or STAFF
STAFF/cgi-bin/koha/members/holdshistory.pl?borrowernumber=1
OPAC//cgi-bin/koha/opac-holdshistory.pl
4) Notice it blows up with a 500 error
5) Repeat step 3

The item accessor in Koha::Old::Checkouts could explode given a checkout
where the item had been deleted.
To test
1/ Edit the issueslip notice to output some item details from the
borrowers old checkouts
[% FOREACH old_checkout IN borrower.old_checkouts %]
[% IF old_checkout.item %]
[% old_checkout.item.price %]
[% END %]
[% END %]
2/ Delete the item associated with an old checkout for a test patron
3/ Print the issueslip for the patron
4/ Note a server side error is triggered
5/ Apply the patch
6/ Print the slip again and note the price details for old checkouts are
now displayed

It would be very useful to have an accountlines method on checkouts objects. In particular it would make fees related to a checkout available from the checkout objects in overdue notices.

1) Apply this patch
2) prove t/db_dependent/Koha/Account/Line.t

On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.
That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.
This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests
And a lot of other manual changes.
export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.
"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;
The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules
Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).
EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.
@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.
@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.
@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""
If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
- use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

This patch adds a 'library' relationship to the Issue and OldIssue
resultsets, to be used in the Koha::*Checkout classes corresponding
accessors. This way we will be able to eventually embed and filter on
library fields on the API.
The ->library method is then added to the classes-

Again a regression caused by
commit fa54100dff
Bug 18403: Use patron-title.inc when hidepatronname is used [SPECIFIC for issuehistory]
GetBiblioIssues does a union all with issues and old_issues, so we
should old_issues as well.
To make the join on the items table we need to define the item and
patron methods. For consistency the relationships have been redefined
(item instead of itemnumber, borrower instead of borrowernumber) in the
DBIx::Class definition.
This is not perfect but I think the best way to provide an easy to
backport patch.
It highlights that we need improvements in this area.
