From
commit 295ae33800
Bug 20272: Replace error numbers by codes in XSLT_Handler
"""
Make XSLT_Handler a little bit less noisy by defaulting print_warns to
false unless $ENV{DEBUG} is set. (See also bug 19018).
"""
I think we should warn the errors in the logs. They are not debug messages here, we should not rely on DEBUG.
If too noisy we should fix the original issues, not hide all the errors (which make the XSLT debugging super hard)
Test plan:
Break a XSLT, reload the page and confirm that there are useful errors in the Koha log file

my $userenv = C4::Context->userenv;

We have a partner that exports UTF-8 CSV files, and is experiencing the same thing as the author of this article: https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/a-quick-tale-about-feff-the-invisible-character-cd25cd4630e7/
In short, Excel is inserting an invisible UTF-8 character at the start of the file, so that the column name "cardnumber" is actually named "\x{feff}cardnumber", causing "cardnumber" to be blank.
A simple solution is provided here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24390034/remove-bom-from-string-with-perl
Test Plan:
1) Download the example.csv file
2) Attempt to import it using the patron import tool
3) Note the invalid column name error
4) Apply this patch, restart all the things!
5) Attempt the import again
6) Assuming you have a branchcode MPL and a cataegory code S, the patron should import!

This patch adds a to_model parameter to dbic_merge_sorting so it is
passed when used (for example from objects.search). The to_model param
is passed along to the _build_order_atom method where it is finally
used.
In the process I wrote tests that reflected some problems in the current
code:
- Mojolicious automatically returns a scalar if a query parameter only
happens once on a request. The code expected an arrayref in every case.
- There's a design issue that forced me to use some hacky code in
_build_order_atom.
The first issue is dealth with, by using Scalar::Util::reftype as the
Perl docs recommend.
The second issue, I don't plan to clean it here, as there's ongoing work
on a Koha::Objects->search_from_api method that will obsolete this code
most probably (see bug 23893 for a better picture of where the mappings
will be living soon).

In cataloguing, the use of tag editor opens authorities finder with a limit on specific authorities type.
This limit is missing with Elasticsearch.
This patch adds in query a "filter" on "term" which is the most performant way because there must be no ranking computed on this part.
Test plan :
1) Use Elasticsearch
2) Create an autority of type author (NP in UNIMARC) with heading "Tolkien"
3) Create an autority of type subject-author (SAUT in UNIMARC) with heading "Tolkien"
4) Create a biblio record
5) Use tag editor on a author field (700 in UNIMARC)
6) Seach for "Tolkien" in $a
without patch : you see the 2 authorities in results
with patch : you see only the correct authority in results (NP in UNIMARC)
7) Check search in authorities-home.pl is still OK

From a plugin template it is useful to be able to include other templates with
[% INCLUDE %] directives. But TT module is used by Koha with absolute paths.
Relative paths are forbidden for security reasons. A new param [% PLUGIN_DIR %]
allow plugin templates to know where to find plugin home directory.
How to test:
1. Install kitchen-sink plugin.
2. Find tool-step1.tt file, and add this at the begining of the file:
[% INCLUDE "$PLUGIN_DIR/header.tt" %]
It ask to include a template header.tt which doesn't exit.
3. Run kitchen-sink plugin tool. You must have this error message:
Template process failed: file error - _path to plugin
directory_/Koha/Plugin/Com/ByWaterSolutions/KitchenSink/header.tt: not found

On using _version_compare in plugins development, it would be nice if it
was able to be called as an object method. This way we don't need to
fully qualify it like this:
Koha::Plugins::Base::_version_compare
and we can do
$self->_version_compare
instead.
This patch implements this behavior change. It is backwards compatible
so plugins using the 'old way' don't break.

'Static' is the default value of Search::Elasticsearch and for a good
reason : it works in most cases, unlike the 'Sniff' option
To test:
1 - Apply patch
2 - Edit koha-conf.xml
3 - Add '<cxn_pool>Static</cxn_pool>' to the elasticsearch stanza
4 - Restart all the things!
5 - Reindex ES, it works
6 - Set SearchEngine to ES, try searching
7 - It works!

A patron is not able to clear their date of birth.
When cleared tt is set to NULL in DB which means, for the patron's
modifications feature, that nothing has been changed.
Test plan:
0/ Do not apply the patch
1/ Edit your personal details at the OPAC
2/ Add a date of birth
3/ On the staff interface, approve the modification request
=> OK it is updated
4/ Edit your personal details and clear the date of birth
5/ On the staff interface
=> KO the table display is wrong, nothing is marked has changed
6/ Approve the modification requiest
=> KO it has not been cleared
7/ Apply the patch and repeat 1 to 6 and confirm that the behaviors are
now correct.

This patch changes pending_hold to has_pending_hold to signify that
we're returning a boolean and not a Koha::Hold object.

- Clone the latest version of the FreeForm backend from:
https://github.com/PTFS-Europe/koha-ill-freeform
- Ensure the ILLModuleCopyrightClearance syspref is populated
- Create an OpenURL in order to pre-populate the FreeForm form, a suitable URL would be:

Fixes handling of /0 selector in addition to several fixed field positions. Note that ff7-01-02 is in fact 00-01 in Zebra and that has been replicated here.
Test plan:
1. Before applying a patch, check from Elasticsearch (e.g. localhost:9200/koha_biblios/_search?q=_id:123) what is indexed in Elasticsearch for a record for date-entered-on-file, ff7-00, ff7-01, ff7-02 and lleader.
2. Apply the patch, update database and save the record again.
3. Verify that the contents of the forementioned fields is now correct in Elasticsearch.
4. Verify that tests pass: prove -v t/Koha/SearchEngine/Elasticsearch.t
