This commit is generated using:
% perl misc/devel/tidy.pl
*within* ktd, to get the same version of perltidy than what will be used
by our CI (currently v20230309).

This patch adds a test for well defined 400 responses on all verbs and
paths on the API spec.
The tests verify:
* Presence of 400 response definition
* The description must start with 'Bad request' (needs coding guideline)
* If DBIC queries are allowed on the route, then `invalid_query` needs
to be mentioned in the description.
All routes get fixed to make the tests pass.
To test:
1. Apply this patch
2. Run:
$ ktd --shell
k$ yarn api:bundle
k$ prove xt/api.t
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass!

If something explodes in Koha::REST::V1::Auth chances are that no logging will happen.
This patch makes sure they are!
To test:
1. Make sure you do NOT have 36420 on your tree
2. Make sure you are looking at the logs:
$ ktd --shell
k$ koha-plack --restart kohadev; tail -f /var/log/koha/kohadev/*.log
3. Use Postman or similar for hitting some known endpoint. Use
the user's cardnumber instead of the userid. On a default KTD launch, the
generated user's cardnumber is '42'.
GET /patrons
=> FAIL: You get a 500 error (expected, fixed on 36420) but no useful logging found.
4. Apply this patch
5. Ctrl+c on the logs and re-run the command
6. Repeat 3
=> SUCCESS: You get a 500, but you also get the exception information logged!

[OK] prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/items.t t/db_dependent/api/v1/unhandled_exceptions.t

We have Koha::Logger via the Mojo app now.
Test plan:
Run perl t/db_dependent/api/v1/unhandled_exceptions.t
Your plack-api-error.log should contain something like:
[2022/08/29 12:15:25] [ERROR] DELETE /api/v1/patrons/1052: unhandled exception (Koha::Exception)<<Exception 'Koha::Exception' thrown 'delete died'>>
Bonus:
Add one line to Koha/REST/Plugin/PluginRoutes.pm:
$app->log->error('PluginRoutes L49');
Before the line with if ( C4::Context->config("enable_plugins") )
Restart and hit the API once again.
Your log should contain: [2022/08/29 12:21:55] [ERROR] PluginRoutes L49
This serves to demonstrate that the $api->log change in PluginRoutes works.

This patch adds the *error_code* attribute to the error response
definition. This way it can be added when returning an error.
I also made a sample usage of it on the generic unhandled_exception
helper, which the unit tests on this patchset expect.
To test:
1. Apply the unit tests patch
2. Run:
$ kshell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/unhandled_exceptions.t
=> FAIL: The unhandled_exception() helper doesn't return an error_code
in the response payload.
3. Apply this patch
4. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass!

To test:
1. Edit the Koha/REST/V1/Cities.pm 'list' method adding
die("Nada"); before the render step.
2. Restart plack and try the endpoint
=> SUCCESS: The message is generic, but you see something is
logged in /var/log/koha/kohadev/api-error.log
3. Change die("Nada"); for a real exception like:
use Koha::Exceptions;
Koha::Exceptions::DuplicateObject->throw("Nada");
4. Repeat 2.
=> SUCCESS: The message is generic, but a meaningful text is added to
the logs.
5. Point your browser to the /api/v1/hola route from your dev
environment
=> FAIL: Wow, such a weird error
6. Apply this patch
7. Restart plack and repeat 2, 3 and 4
=> SUCCESS: No behaviour change
8. Repeat 5
=> SUCCESS: The regular Mojolicious 404 weird page

If we catch a Koha::Exception-derived exception, the log is put in a
single line. If the code 'dies' then a newline character is appended to
the string. This patch chomps it so it displays in a single line.
To test:
1. Tweak Koha::REST::V1::Cities::list in the try block so it dies before
render
2. Restart plack and try the original test plan
=> FAIL: Notice two lines are logged
3. Apply this patch
4. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: Only one line in the logs
5. Verify rendering a Koha::Exception works as well:
Koha::Exceptions::Exception->throw("Nada!");

This patch adds Koha::Logger as the default logger for the API, and
introduces a new helper plugin that takes care of handling the unhandled
exceptions. Basically, with this we would write something like this in
our controller methods:
try {
...
}
catch {
if ( know_exception ) {
handle_known_exception($_);
}
$c->unhandled_exception($_);
}
Without this, we end up adding more and more handling 'just in case'.
To test:
1. Edit the Koha/REST/V1/Cities.pm 'list' method adding
die("Nada"); before the render step.
2. Restart plack and try the endpoint
=> FAIL: A generic error is displayed, and no traces of the original
problem are found on the logs.
3. Apply this patches, make sure your instance's log4perl has the
introduced lines for API with the right path.
4. Repeat 2
=> SUCCESS: The message is still generic, but you see something is
logged in /var/log/koha/kohadev/api-error.log
5. Change die("Nada"); for a real exception like:
use Koha::Exceptions;
Koha::Exceptions::DuplicateObject->throw("Nada");
6. Repeat 2.
=> SUCCESS: The message is generic, but a meaningful text is added to
the logs.
