This patch adds handling for the 264 field in precedence to the 260 for
the generate_marc_host_field method and also adds subfields n and p to
the 245 handling.
Test plan
1) The routine is currently only called during bundle linking so...
1a) Creating a new bundle
* Add a new bib record
* Mark the bib record as a 'collection' type by setting leader
position 7 to 'c'
* Add a new item to this bib record
* You should see a new 'Manage bundle' button available in the
'Actions' column of the Holdings table.
* Clicking 'Manage bundle' should expand the table to include a new
row directly beneath this one.
* Use the new 'Add to bundle' button that appears in this row to
trigger a modal that allows entering the barcode of items you wish
to add to the bundle
* Ensure the 'Add MARC link' checkbox is checked to create 773 links
and trigger the code above
2) Inspect the MARC record for the host biblio and confirm the 773 has
been built.
3) Run unit tests to confirm they now pass

Test plan:
1) Apply tests patches. Run tests (they should fail):
prove t/db_dependent/Koha/BackgroundJobs/ErmSushiHarvester.t
2) Apply this patch and run tests again (they should pass this time).
UI test:
1) Create a new data provider linked to Gale Cengage, service url:
https://api.siqcloud.online/counterapi/r51
2) Add report release 5, customer id: '123', requestor id: '123', report types: 'TR_J1'
3) Run a report for this data provider, from Feb 2025 to Apr 2025. Notice that before applying patches, the job report results in a red bar with no error message.
4) Apply patches, repeat 3. Notice it now results in a nice error message.

Set these sysprefs:
- FinesMode: Calculate and Charge
- WhenLostForgiveFine: Forgive
- WhenLostChargeReplacementFee: Charge
In circ rules:
- Have a rule that charges fines
- Set Refund lost item replacement fee to "Refund lost item charge and charge new overdue fine"
1 - Have/create item with replacement price
2 - Check item out to patron 1, due date in past
3 - Run fines.pl
4 - confirm fines on patron 1
5 - mark item lost
6 - confirm replacement cost generated and fine forgiven on patron 1
7 - check item in
8 - confirm replacement cost forgiven and new fine generated on patron 1
9 - check item out to patron 2, due date in future
10 - check item in
11 - mark item lost (no replacement fee generated because item is not checked out)
12 - in database, update date_due for checkout to patron 2, set to a date in the past
13 - check item in
14 - confirm patron 2 now has a fine
15 - Apply patches, restart all
16 - Repeat test plan with another item and confirm no fine is added for patron 2
Note: At step 12 we're pushing the date_due of the old issue into the past to make date_due<curdate(). In production, this comes up when there are days between steps 10 and 13.

IN instead of a list of OR for itemnumbers.
To test:
1 - On the command line:

The patches on this bug add the ability for staff members to set the patron expiry notice as mandatory at the category level. When set, the cronjob will automatically send an expiry notice regardless of existing messaging preferences. If it is turned off, the old messaging preferences will still be in place and actioned
Test plan:
1) Apply patch and run updatedatabase
2) In system preferences set MembershipExpiryDaysNotice to 5
3) Choose a patron and edit their expiry date to today's date, ensuring they have a primary email set
4) Create a MEMBERSHIP_EXPIRY notice (content of the notice is irrelevant, just needs to exist)
5) Run perl misc/cronjobs/membership_expiry.pl -c -v -before 10 -after 10
6) Check the patron's messages, there should be no expiry notice queued
7) Set the patron's category 'enforce expiry notice' field to Yes
8) Repeat step 5, there should be a notice queued
9) Set that patron's primary contact method to primary email and run step 5 again
10) There should be a notice queued for an email
11) Set the category level enforce expiry notice back to No
12) Choose a second patron and set an email address, expiry date to today and set the patron expiry messaging preference for that patron to 'email'
13) Repeat step 5 - this time only one notice should be queued on the second patron, no new notice should queue for the first
14) Re-set the category level option to Yes
15) Repeat step 5 - this time both patron's should have notices queued
16) Unset the category level option again, the behaviour should be the same as step 13
17) Set the category level option back to Yes and check the patron messaign preferences menus in both the OPAC and Staff client - the patron expiry option should not be visible while the cateogry level enforcement is set to Yes

When IndependentBranches is enabled and canreservefromotherbranches
is set to don't allow, then non-superlibrarians should not be able to
place holds for other libraries.
Test plan:
1. Appy the patch.
2. In Koha administration > System preferences, set:
- IndependentBranches: Yes
- canreservefromotherbranches: Don't allow
3. In Koha administration > Circulation and fines rules, check that
you have a rule for all patron categories and all item types, with
unlimited holds.
4. Find (or create) a staff patron for a library other than Centerville:
- Change the username and password so you can log in as the
staff patron.
- Add permissions to the staff patron (More > Set permissions):
. Staff access, allows viewing of catalogue in staff interface
. Add, modify and view patron information
. Place and modify holds for patrons
5. Find (or create) a patron with the same home library as the
staff patron in step 4.
6. Find (or create) a record with an item where the home and
current library are the same as the staff patron in step 3 and the
patron in step 5.
7. As a superlibrarian place a hold for the record from step 6
using the patron from step 5:
- If placing a hold for the next available item, the "Pickup at"
dropdown list should list all libraies.
- If placing a hold on a specific item, the dropdown list for the
"Allowed pickup locations" column for each item should also list
all libraries.
- After placing the hold, in the "Existing holds" table, the dropdown
list for each hold in the "Pickup library" column should
also list all libraries.
8. Log out from the staff interface and login with the staff patron
from step 4.
9. Find the record from step 6 and place a hold using the patron from
step 5 - the library dropdown list should be limited to the
item's home library:
- If placing a hold for the next available item, the "Pickup at"
dropdown list should only list the item's home library.
- If placing a hold on a specific item, the dropdown list for the
"Allowed pickup locations" column for each item should also only
list the item's home library.
- After placing the hold, in the "Existing holds" table, the
"Pickup library" column should now only show the item's home
librayr, with no dropdown list.

This patch suggests to deal with connection issues at
Koha::BackgroundJob->connect level.
It incorrectly returned a Net::Stomp object when the connection failed.
With this patch, if the CONNECT does not return a CONNECTED frame then
Koha::BackgroundJob->connect returns nothing and the caller is not
fooled.

This change causes es_indexer_daemon.pl to die on ERROR frames instead
of spinning in an infinite loop. It also adds a content-type STOMP frame header
to help consumers know what data type is in the MESSAGE frame body.
To test ERROR handling for es_indexer_daemon.pl:
1. Switch to using Elasticsearch
2. Change your RabbitMQ connection details in koha-conf.xml or the hard-coded ones in Koha/BackgroundJob.pm
to include an invalid password. For example, if you don't have a message_broker already defined, use the following:
<message_broker>
<password>bad</password>
</message_broker>
3. sudo koha-es-indexer --restart kohadev
4. View the errors in the logs:
tail -f /var/log/koha/kohadev/es-indexer-output.log
tail -f /var/log/koha/kohadev/es-indexer-error.log
To test MESSAGE handling for es_indexer_daemon.pl:
1. Switch to using Elasticsearch (and ensure RabbitMQ connection details are correct)
2. Change the title of a bib record to something new and unique
3. Try to search for the bib using the new title
4. Note you can find it
5. Look in the logs just to make sure there are no messages there

With bug 30280 and subsequent patches we attempt to respect the
thesaurus indication when linking with LinkerConsiderThesaurus on.
However, there are still cases when we link wrong.
This happens when thesaurus in bibliographic field 6XX is defined by
subfield $2. In such a case the authority record should have 008/11 = 'z'
and, according to https://www.loc.gov/marc/authority/ad008.html
(cf. comment for 008/11 = 'z': "A MARC code for the conventions used to
formulate the heading *may* be contained in subfield $f"), may or may have
thesaurus declared in 040 $f.
This is why we make a second search attempt in C4::Heading::_search,
but doing so we have to make sure that the resulting authority
record has not a different thesaurus declared in 040 $f. (Note
that 008/11 and 040 $f are indexed with the same search
field: subject-heading-thesaurus. So we search for the
second time in the same search field but with
'notdefined' == 008/11='z' instead of the original
thesaurus taken from subfield $2 of the bibliographic
field 6XX.) This means we have to explicitly check the
content of 040 $f of the resulting authority record.
Test plan:
==========
1. Turn on the LinkerConsiderThesaurus systempreference.
2. Create an authority record (e.g. TOPIC_TERM) with 008/11 = 'z' and
040 $f containing a thesaurus indication (e.g. 'kaba'), and a term
in field 150 $a (e.g. Early music).
3. Edit a bibliographic record: in field 650 put 2nd indicator '7',
the term 'Early music' in $a, and a different thesaurus code in $2
(e.g. 'dbn'). Click the 'Link authorities automatically' button.
Note that 650 'Early music' (dbn) has been linked with and authority
record 'Early music' (kaba). This is wrong.
4. Apply the patch ; restart_all ; reindex ES for authorities with:
koha-elasticsearch --rebuild -d -a kohadev
5. Repeat p. 3. Now the 650 'Early music' (dbn) has not been linked to
an authority record (650 - No matching authority found.)

When building queries for matchign Zebra uses OR to combine searches - Elasticsearch
has been effectively using 'AND' - this patch checks whether and_or has been passed
and follows the variable when present.
To test:
1 - Have an import file of auths with multiple 035
2 - Setup an authority matching rule
Search index: other-control-number
Score: 1000
Tag: 035
Subfields: a
3 - Make sure Koha is using Elasticsearch
4 - Stage file without matching, import file
5 - Stage file again, using your matching rule
6 - Note all records match
7 - Setup Cataloging->Marc modification template
8 - Add an action to delete first 035 field
9 - Run it against the records you just imported
You can use a report:
SELECT authid FROM auth_header WHERE authid > #### (find the lowest new record number in batch you imported)
10 - Change matching rule in batch to none, then back to your rule
11 - No matches!
12 - Apply patch, restart all

If DefaultHoldExpirationdate is on and DefaultHoldExpirationdatePeriod

Test plan:
1) Apply the 'rollback tests' patch to reinstate the testing of the behavior if a cardnumber is missing (and a user is authenticated)
2) Run tests (they should fail):
prove t/db_dependent/Koha/ILL/Request/Workflow/HistoryCheck.t
3) Apply this patch. Repeat 2) They should pass.
Test plan for UI:
1) Enable ILLModule and ILLHistoryCheck
2) Create a new ILL on OPAC, visit:
http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/opac-illrequests.pl?op=add_form&backend=Standard
3) Select type="journal", enter DOI = "123". Create.
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3. A history check screen should be displayed (it is not, before this patch).

To test:
1. In k-t-d try loading both member/moremember.pl and circ/circulation.pl for a patron with many guarantors.
2. Note the load times.
3. APPLY PATCH
4. Load times should now be reduced pretty significantly.
5. prove -v /kohadevbox/koha/t/db_dependent/Koha/Patron.t
6. No behavior should change.

This patch correct the call to filter the record
To test:
1 - Enable OAI
2 - Set OAI-PMH:ConfFile to '/var/lib/koha/kohadev/OAI.yaml'
3 - Edit/create the file above to have content:
format:
marcxml:
metadataPrefix: marcxml
metadataNamespace: http://www.loc.gov/MARC21/slimhttp://www.loc.gov/standards/marcxml/schema/MARC21slim
schema: http://www.loc.gov/MARC21/slimhttp://www.loc.gov/standards/marcxml/schema/MARC21slim.xsd
include_items: 1
expanded_avs: 1
4 - save and restart_all
5 - View some records:
http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/oai.pl?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=marcxml
6 - Note the items show coded values
7 - Apply the regressions tests patch
8 - Run:
$ ktd --shell
k$ prove t/db_dependent/Koha/OAI/Server/Repository.t
=> FAIL: Tests fail!
9 - Apply this patch
10 - Restart all
11 - Refresh and confirm items now have descriptions
12 - Repeat 8
=> SUCCESS: Tests pass!

This patch updates the query logic of create_from_statistic for borrower
attributes.
We replace the count of attributes types with a query to fetch all
attributes type codes where keep_for_pseudonymization is set.
We then check for content in that array before using it to perform a
filtered search on the patrons extended_attributes to only return
attributes set for pseudonymization.
This should result in the same skip of extended_attributes fetch should
no attribute types be set to pseudonymization, but it should also reduce
the 1 call to attribute types per attribute the patron has to just a
single filtered call for patron attributes attributes followed by the
store call for each pseudonymizated attribute.
Test plan:
As before, except there should be even fewer sql calls to the database
than before for the case where there are attributes.

This patch simply checks the count of pseudonymized borrower attributes before
looping through them
To test:
1 - Define several borrower attributes, none kept for pseudonymization
2 - Add some values for those attributes to some patrons
3 - Generate some statistics for those patrons (checkin, checkout, renew, etc)
4 - Enable pseudonymization
5 - On command line: export DBIC_TRACE=1
6 - Run the pseudonymization script with a date in the future to ensure all transactions are captured:
perl misc/maintenance/pseudonymize_statistics.pl -v -c --before 2026-01-01
7 - Note the borrower attributes are fetched
8 - Apply patch
9 - repeat 6
10 - Note the attributes are only counted, not fetched
11 - Make one of the attributes kept
12 - repeat 6
13 - Note the attributes are counted and fetched

If syspref CheckPrevCheckout is enabled, Koha checks if patron
has previously checked out item within timeperiod set in
syspref CheckPrevCheckoutDelay. This however doesn't take into
account cases where item is currently checked out for patron and
they are trying to check out another item from same record (can
be done if syspref AllowMultipleIssuesOnABiblio is enabled). We
should always check if item is currently checked out for the
patron if CheckPrevCheckout is enabled.
To test:
1. Enable syspref CheckPrevCheckout and set CheckPrevCheckoutDelay
as e.g. 10. Also enable syspref AllowMultipleIssuesOnABiblio.
2. Find a record that has been checked out for patron over 10 days ago.
3. Attempt to check out item from same record for same patron.
=> Note that you have to confirm if you want to check out item for
the patron.
4. Find record that is currently checked out for a patron.
5. Attempt to check out item from same record for same patron.
=> Note that item is checked out for patron without confirm message.
6. Apply this patch and restart services if needed.
7. Repeat steps 2. and 3.
=> Confirm that you still have to confirm if you want to check out
item for the patron.
8. Repeat steps 4. and 5.
=> New confirm message "Patron has this title currently checked out:..."
should be displayed and you have to confirm if you want to check out
item for the patron.
