When creating a new Koha instance using the two-step workflow
(`koha-create --request-db <instance>`, followed by
`koha-create --populate-db <instance>`), some log files under
/var/log/koha/<instance>/ end up with incorrect ownership.
Specifically, intranet-error.log and opac-error.log are owned
by root:root instead of <instance>-koha:<instance>-koha.
This patch fixes that.
Test plan (tailored for KTD):
1) Before applying this patch, run the following commands
inside your KTD Koha container:
$ sudo koha-create --request-db test1
$ SQLPASS=`sudo grep password: test1-db-request.txt | cut -c 16-`
$ mysql -hdb -uroot -ppassword -e "CREATE DATABASE koha_test1;"
$ mysql -hdb -uroot -ppassword -e "GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON koha_test1.* TO 'koha_test1'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY '${SQLPASS}';"
$ mysql -hdb -uroot -ppassword -e "FLUSH PRIVILEGES;"
$ sudo koha-create --populate-db test1
$ ls -l /var/log/koha/test1/
total 8
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:35 indexer-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 1278 Feb 9 15:35 indexer-output.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Feb 9 15:35 intranet-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Feb 9 15:35 opac-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:35 worker-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 1828 Feb 9 15:35 worker-output.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:35 zebra-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:35 zebra-output.log
Notice the incorrect user/group ownership on two
files: `intranet-error.log` and `opac-error.log`.
2) Apply this patch, remove the `test1` instance along
with the database request text file, and copy the
modified script to its system-wide location:
$ sudo koha-remove test1
$ sudo rm test1-db-request.txt
$ sudo cp debian/scripts/koha-create /usr/sbin/koha-create
3) Repeat the commands in Step 1. This time, the output of
the last command should resemble the following:
total 8
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:42 indexer-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 1520 Feb 9 15:42 indexer-output.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:42 intranet-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:42 opac-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:42 worker-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 1828 Feb 9 15:42 worker-output.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:42 zebra-error.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 test1-koha test1-koha 0 Feb 9 15:42 zebra-output.log
All files should now have the correct user/group ownership.

The koha-mysql didn't work when the instance was set up to use an encrypted
database connection.
Please note: this testplan is for ktd, not for a production environment!
Unfortunately, there are some issues with the database TLS configuration in koha-testing-docker.
This is described comment 14 of bug 36026 (https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36026#c14)
As a workaround, you can add "mysql_ssl_optional=1" in Koha/Database.pm.
See point (g) in comment 15 of bug 36026 (https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36026#c15)
Testing Database Connection Encryption:
1. Apply the patch.
2. Configure koha-conf.xml to use a TLS connection
(see comment 10 https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36026#c10, follow steps 3a-g + 4 )
3. Run:
koha-mysql <koha_instance>
4. Verify that the MySQL console opens successfully.
5. Check the encryption settings in the MySQL console:
- run:
SHOW VARIABLES LIKE '%ssl%';
- run:
STATUS;
Ensure that the following conditions are met:
- have_openssl and have_ssl are set to "YES".
- The SSL cipher in use is displayed.
Testing MySQL Timezone Configuration:
1. Apply the patch.
2. Configure the timezone in koha-conf.xml, for example:
<timezone>Antarctica/South_Pole</timezone>
3. Run:
koha-mysql <koha_instance>
4. Verify that the MySQL console opens successfully.
5. Check the timezone setting in the MySQL console by running:
SELECT @@session.time_zone;
6. Confirm that the output matches the timezone configured in koha-conf.xml.

This patch adds more module search paths to the zebra-biblios-dom.cfg and zebra-authorities-dom.cfg, so that a larger range of CPU architectures will work with Zebra search unit tests.
This will not change Debian package installs, but it will fix any git-based installs.
TO TEST (you'll need access to an ARM-based CPU, and, preferably, an x86-64 machine):
ON THE ARM-BASED MACHINE:
a) start ktd, then ktd --shell
b) in ktd, run: prove -v t/db_dependent/Search.t
c) notice how the test now fails
APPLY PATCH
d) rerun step b
e) notice how the test now passes
ON THE X86-64-BASED MACHINE:
f) run steps a-e
g) notice how the test passes, both before and after applying the patch

This patch makes two things:
* Adds a `get_worker_queues` function to koha-functions.sh
* Makes `koha-remove` loop through all the defined queues to stop all
the running workers before trying to remove the unix user for the
instance.
To test:
1. Run:
$ ktd --shell
k$ sudo -s
k$ koha-create --create-db test1
k$ service koha-common restart
k$ koha-remove test1
=> FAIL: There's an error about not being able to drop the instance user
2. Run:
k$ ps -ef | grep test1
=> FAIL: There's a running process for the 'long_tasks' queue worker.
3. Apply this patch
4. Run:
k$ cp debian/scripts/koha-functions.sh \
/usr/share/koha/bin/koha-functions.sh
5. Repeat 1 naming the instance `test2`
=> SUCCESS: The instance is removed correctly. No error about running
processes

tar has exit status 1 if any file has changed while being read, which is likely to happen as the logfiles are included. this patch will catch these harmless errors so that koha-dump will still return a success code.
Test plan:
1. Create a number of backups and edit their modify time to being older than 2 days
2. run the koha-run-backups script and try and write to one of the files it includes while it's being backed up (you'll trigger a warning from tar saying the file changed as it was being read)
3. verify that the older backups are not being cleaned up and deleted despite new backups being made.
4. Apply this patch
5. Complete steps 1-2 again and then go and look to see if the older backups are being deleted.

This change adds the ability to enable and configure TCP keepalive
support for the SIP server using SIPconfig.xml.
For the sake of backwards compatibility, it defaults to disabled
and additional parameters default match typical kernel defaults.
Technical detail can be found in the perldoc for C4/SIP/SIPserver.pm
Test plan:
0. Apply the patch
1. koha-sip --restart kohadev
2. apt-get update && apt-get install tcpdump
3. In one window, run "tcpdump -A -n -v -i any 'port 6001'"
4. In another window, run the following:
echo -e "9300CNterm1|COterm1|CPCPL|\r" | nc 127.0.0.1 6001 -v
5. Note in tcpdump output that after the initial flood of packets,
nothing more is received
6. vi /etc/koha/sites/kohadev/SIPconfig.xml
7. In the "server-params" element, add attributes like the following:
custom_tcp_keepalive='1'
custom_tcp_keepalive_time='10'
custom_tcp_keepalive_intvl='5'
8. koha-sip --restart kohadev
9. In one window, run "tcpdump -A -n -v -i any 'port 6001'"
10. In another window, run the following:
echo -e "9300CNterm1|COterm1|CPCPL|\r" | nc 127.0.0.1 6001 -v

The cron can take a very long time to run on systems with many issues.
For example, a partner with ~250k auto_renew issues is taking about 9 hours to run.
If we run that same number of issues in 5 parallel chunks
( splitting the number of issues as evenly as possible ), it could take under 2 hours.
Test Plan:
1) Generate a number of issues marked for auto_renew
2) Run the automatic_renewals.pl, use the `time` utility to track how much time it took to run
3) Set parallel_loops to 10 in auto_renew_cronjob section of config in koha-conf
4) Repeat step 2, note the improvement in speed
5) Experiment with other values

Attaching a patch to clear things up.
To test:
1 - Open KTD/D12
2 - tail -f /var/log/koha/kohadev/*.log
3 - On another terminal 'restart_all'
4 - Wait a bit, notice SIP dying
5 - Apply patch
6 - Update SIPconfig:
server-params:
log_file='/var/log/koha/kohadev/sip.log'
service with port 8023:
port="127.0.0.1:8023/tcp"
7 - Restart all
8 - Confirm SIP no longer dies

The userenv (logged in user's info) are stored in
$C4::Context->context->{activeuser}, which persists in plack worker's
memory.
It's really bad in theory as we are not cleaning it before or after the
HTTP request, but only when set_userenv is called (what we are doing
commonly in C4::Auth::get_template_and_user).
If C4::Context->userenv is called before set_userenv we should get undef,
not the userenv from the previous request!
In practice this should not be a problem, but well... who really knows?
This patch suggests to have a middleware to deal with removing the
userenv at the beginning of each request (maybe it should be after, right? - FIXME).
To test:
1 - Edit /etc/koha/sites/kohadev/koha-conf.xml to set <plack_workers>1</plack_workers>
2 - Edit about.pl and add a line after: CGI->new:
warn Data::Dumper::Dumper( C4::Cointext->userenv() );
3 - tail -f /var/log/koha/kohadev/*.log
4 - View about.pl in staff interface, should get a "somethign's wrong" warning
5 - Reload, you get current user info
6 - Open an incognito tab, sign in as a different user and click some stuff
7 - Reload about.pl in other window
8 - You get the opac user info
9 - Apply patch
10 - Edit /etc/koha/sites/kohadev/plack.psgi and add the middleware after "RealIP":
enable "+Koha::Middleware::UserEnv";
11 - Restart all
12 - Reload about.pl - you get a "Something's wrong" warning
13 - Click things in opac on incognito window
14 - Reload about.pl - only "Something's wrong" - you no longer see any user info

Written patch to add flag to both koha-dump and koha-run-backups.
Test plan:
1. do a sudo koha-dump and sudo koha-run-backups and check the contents of the .tar.gz backup in /var/spool/koha/instance/ and verify logs are in there
2. apply this patch
3. this time do sudo koha-dump --exclude-logs and sudo koha-run-backups --exclude-logs and check the contents of the .tar.gz backup in /var/spool/koha/instance and verify nothing from /var/log/koha is in there.

Mimic missing stuff from apache-shared-opac.conf into apache-shared-opac-plack.conf, where /search and /opac-search.pl aliases were missing.
Note that while RewriteRule applies before reverse proxy directives and works, ScriptAlias applies purely to standard cgi perl scripts, meaning it didn't apply there.
Now it's mimicked analogously to how /index.html is configured.
This patch fixes an issue where someone might have just a reverse proxy to Plack configured without native Perl scripting, where this URL would then otherwise be failing.

This adds a --status switch to the koha-plack command.
To test on ktd:
- Copy the script to /usr/sbin, so you run the modified script,
and not the one installed by Koha:
$ sudo cp debian/scripts/koha-plack /usr/sbin/
- Stop and start Plack for kohadev like so:
$ sudo koha-plack --stop kohadev
$ sudo koha-plack --start kohadev
And make sure this reports the correct status, both when Plack
is running and when it is not running:
$ sudo koha-plack --status kohadev
- Make sure --status is mentioned here:
$ sudo koha-plack --help
- See https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Testing_man_pages for
details on how to check the manual page for the command

This patch introduces a Vue.js based record sources managing page. To
test it:
1. Apply this patch
2. Build the Vue.js stuff:
$ ktd --shell
k$ yarn js:build
k$ restart_all
3. On the staff interface, go to Administration > Record sources
4. Play with the interface and the offered actions
=> SUCCESS: Things go well
5. Sign off :-D

Koha serves static .js files as application/javascript (if /etc/mime.types
says to) and serves them compressed, but output_with_http_headers uses the
currently-correct text/javascript mimetype, and Koha doesn't compress that.
Test plan:
1. Set the preference EnableAdvancedCatalogingEditor to Enable.
2. Open the browser Web Developer Tools to the Network tab
3. Load Cataloging - Advanced editor
4. Click on the line for the framework?frameworkcode=&callback=define load
5. Note the content-type text/javascript, no Content-Encoding line, and
the size of 1.9MB
6. Apply the patches from bug 36463 if they haven't been pushed, then this
patch, and reset_all
7. Repeat steps 1-4, and note a Content-Encoding: gzip header and a
Transferred size around 160KB

This patch simply adds application/json to the mod_deflate configuration
To test:
1 - Open the netowrk tab in firefox
2 - Load http://localhost:8081/api/v1/libraries
3 - Not the transferred size, and note no 'Content-Encoding: gzip" header
4 - Apply patch, reset_all (or edit /etc/koha/apache-shared.conf)
5 - Reload
6 - Note smaller size, note gzip header

This patch fixes the syntax in marc21-retrieval-info-auth-dom.xml,
so that one can use the Zebra special retrieval elements documented
at https://software.indexdata.com/zebra/doc/special-retrieval.html
These are very useful when troubleshooting issues with authority
records in Zebra.
Test plan (using KTD):
1. yaz-client unix:/var/run/koha/kohadev/authoritysocket
2. Enter these commands:
. base authorities
. format xml
. elements zebra::snippet
. find e
. show 1
3. Result = diagnostic message:
Diagnostic message(s) from database:
[25] Specified element set name not valid for specified database
-- v2 addinfo 'zebra::snippet'
4. Apply the patch
5. Copy updated file: sudo cp debian/templates/marc21-retrieval-info-auth-dom.xml
/etc/koha/marc21-retrieval-info-auth-dom.xml
6. Stop and restart zebra (no need to rebuild the Zebra index):
. sudo koha-zebra --stop kohadev
. sudo pkill zebrasrv
. sudo koha-zebra --start kohadev
7. Repeat commands in step 2.
8. Result from show 1 = XML output:
Sent presentRequest (1+1).
Records: 1
Record type: XML
<record xmlns="http://www.indexdata.com/zebra/">
<snippet name="Any" type="w">Gontarski, S. <s>E</s></snippet>

This patch changes the Zebra output log time format from
the default "hh:mm:ss-DD/MM" to the more standard ISO 8601
"%FT%T".
This change makes the logs easier to read for both
humans and machines. One benefit includes easy searching
and sorting.
Test plan:
1. cp debian/scripts/koha-zebra /usr/sbin/koha-zebra
2. koha-zebra --stop kohadev
3. koha-zebra --start kohadev
4. ps -efww | grep "zebrasrv"
5. Note "-m %FT%T" in the grep output
6. tail -f /var/log/koha/kohadev/zebra-output.log
7. Run a few searches like http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/search.pl?q=ccl%3Dargawarga%3D1 or http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/search.pl?q=e
8. Note that the timestamp in the Zebra log is formatted "2020-12-22T00:13:42" instead of like "00:13:42-22/12"

- Check "sudo koha-worker --help" and verify elastic_index is
mentioned in the list of "current queues"
- See https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Testing_man_pages for
how to check the "man" page. There should be a new paragraph
